Impact of the Strategic Incremental Perspective on the Business Performance of Small and Medium-Sized Hospitality Enterprises

Abstract: The business performance of small and medium-sized hospitality firms has been receiving particular attention in the Vietnamese market. This study aims to evaluate the impacts of the strategic incremental perspective on business performance. Around 342 samples are analyzed through the PLS-SEM method. Findings reveal that organizational knowledge acquisition, firm competitive advantage, and employee commitment significantly impact business performance. Furthermore, a strategic incremental perspective contributes significantly to the positive performance of businesses. In addition, this study will offer practical suggestions for hoteliers and hospitality managers to enhance performance from the strategic as well as theoretical point of view for this field. It could be helpful for policymakers to create innovative ideas and achieve good performance. This study also has certain limitations.
