Abstract:
I met Yair Aharoni for the first time in Boston in, or about, 1971. He was involved with Harvard and I ran a startup company in educational aids. He impressed me with his straight talk, reasonable proposals, and many connections at Harvard. He encouraged me to join the newly established faculty of business administration at Tel Aviv University, where he was the first dean. I expressed interest, but I was not ready to leave what I was doing. A year later, I sold my shares in the company that I was running and decided to return to Israel…
