Chapter 31 in Sustainable Development of the Green Entrepreneurial Economy, 2025, pp 365-374 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.

Abstract: This research examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the transformation of agriculture based on the Russian practice of introducing innovative technologies, considering the Sustainable Development Goals. Due to population growth and environmental and climate threats, traditional farming methods can no longer meet the demand for food. New agricultural automation technologies are being actively introduced to ensure food security. Using technological tools such as AI, uncrewed aerial vehicles, the Internet of Things, and others is an important step toward sustainable agriculture. This research aims to review technological innovations, evaluate effective Russian practices based on AI technologies, and propose steps to integrate AI technologies through sustainable farming methods. This document explores how the analytical capabilities of AI automate agricultural operations and help in decision-making, tracking, monitoring, and analyzing data in real time. Additionally, the problems of implementation and the potential of AI technologies in increasing transparency, data security, and supply chain management are considered. Taken together, these technological innovations are changing the agricultural landscape and playing an important role in a more sustainable and productive future.
