Abstract:
Digital transformation and the way people interact within digital space have encouraged the development of digital services, including the services required for obtaining and further handling mortgage loans. The research aims to identify the current state and potential for developing digital tools used for home mortgage loans to maintain a high customer focus and efficiency in the home mortgage market. During the research, the authors used the data from the federal legal acts, official sources of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, and the strategy of mortgage loan development until 2025. The authors identified several key points: the benefits that digitalization brings to home mortgage loans, the current state of the digital services market and the mortgage services sector, and the potential of the digitalization process within the home mortgage market. Due to the growing need to develop tools for the provision of digital services in the mortgage loan market, it is necessary to create a comprehensive ecosystem. This system would address and streamline all challenges associated with obtaining a mortgage loan at every stage of the process.
