Abstract:
In recent decades, the world has been experiencing significant changes caused by global social processes, major natural disasters, and environmental crises. This has led to an awareness of the need to respect human rights and genuine values. As a result, most countries in the world have adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ESG transformation as priorities in their 2030 agenda. These initiatives emphasize the importance of transitioning to a low-carbon and green economy, developing national plans to reduce emissions, implementing sustainable consumption and production patterns, and rationally using natural resources. These global initiatives determine the direction of development of today’s civilization, emphasizing the need to create a more sustainable and equitable world for future generations. The traditional business model focused on maximizing profits and shareholder value is undergoing a transformation. Companies are increasingly moving toward a stakeholder approach and the concept of corporate social responsibility. Many businesses are now adopting the principles of sustainable development and inclusive growth as their core goals. This means they seek financial profits and create a positive social and environmental impact.
