Market Structure Evolution — Perspectives of a Market Practitioner
Donald R. Wilson
Chapter 3 in Electronic Trading and Blockchain:Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, 2018, pp 149-158 from World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd.
Abstract:
I was honored when Dr. Sandor approached me about the possibility of contributing a chapter to his latest book. Although I often reflect on how market structures evolve, I rarely spend time writing about it. What a great opportunity for me to take time away from the daily rush of running DRW to share some big-picture ideas about how the markets have evolved over time and what new technologies and factors might have important impact on future market structure evolution.
