Abstract:
e-commerce is essential for enterprises because it improves their understanding of customer needs and of products and services available in the market. Although in recent years an increasing number of manufacturing enterprises have engaged in e-commerce activities, successful examples have been few. In this chapter, we explore how Haier, the largest manufacturing enterprise in China, successfully adopted e-commerce after a series of complex changes.
