Abstract: Foreign direct investment (FDI) is an essential tool for promoting economic development and increasing a country’s competitiveness. This research explores the experience of attracting and utilizing Chinese foreign direct investment (FDI) in countries across Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Africa. The research analyzes the dynamics of Chinese FDI in different nations and regions, highlighting the key industries and priority sectors that receive these investments. Additionally, it examines the distinctive characteristics of Chinese foreign investment in international markets, offering insights into its strategic focus and impact. Analyzing China’s FDI in different countries and regions is an important tool in the contemporary economy. A review of China’s investment activity in recent years examined the main directions and volumes of investment in various countries and regions. Particular attention is paid to the factors determining the strategic priorities of Chinese investments and their impact on the economies and policies of recipient countries. Based on the collected information, the authors analyzed the dynamics of Chinese investments in local markets, industries, and the social environment. The research results can serve as a basis for understanding the dynamics of global economic processes and orienting development strategies for various countries and regions.
