Abstract:
In recent years, both small and large corporations, as well as governments and the military, have shifted from on-premise data centers to cloud solutions mainly provided by US companies like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. In 2023, Amazon Web Services generated revenues of USD 90 billion, slightly less than the Swiss food giant Nestlé.1 They have transformed into global data repositories, holding a vast treasure trove of commercial and private data ready for use. LLMs can now analyze enormous datasets and extract valuable insights from cloud data — a perfect match.
