Abstract:
In this paper the general concept of Supply Chain Management (SCM) is described and the scientific cooperation models in the supply chain are discussed. Though there are several models to explain cooperations there is no clear perspective on the needed competencies in companies to shape a successful cooperation e.g. within a supply chain. Instead companies rely solely on experience and intuition in order to create and steer supply chain relationships with high business values. In order to mitigate these shortcomings the authors present a model for SCM business cooperation management.
