Abstract: Im Folgenden wird untersucht, wie der Wegfall der Beschränkung der Arbeitnehmerfreizügigkeit für acht Beitrittsländer aus Mittel- und Osteuropa und die Verkürzung der Schulzeit ("doppelte Abiturjahrgänge") in einigen deutschen Bundesländern das Erwerbspersonenpotential beeinflussen.
