Arbeitsmarkt in den Krisenländern: Zwischen Beschäftigungsaufbau und Auswanderung

Abstract: In den Ländern Griechenland, Irland, Portugal und Spanien, die sämtlich im Rahmen von Anpassungsprogrammen auf internationale Finanzhilfen zurückgreifen mussten, erholt sich der Arbeitsmarkt nach der großen Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise inzwischen wieder. In Irland verringerte sich die saisonbereinigte Arbeitslosenquote seit ihrem Höchstwert Anfang des Jahres 2012 von 15,1 Prozent auf mittlerweile 9,5 Prozent (im Juli 2015). Ein ähnliches Bild zeichnet sich in Portugal ab, dessen Erwerbslosenquote (seit Anfang 2013) von 17,5 Prozent auf 12,1 Prozent gesunken ist. Spanien hat (seit Anfang 2013) über eine halbe Million weniger Arbeitslose ausgewiesen, so dass die Quote von 26,3 Prozent auf 22,2 Prozent zurückging. Selbst in Griechenland ist die Arbeitslosigkeit (seit Herbst 2013) von 27,9 Prozent auf etwa 25 Prozent (im Mai 2015) gesunken.
