Abstract:
As the deployment and adoption of 5G technology continues to unfold, there is an increasing need to comprehend the key drivers that will shape its diffusion in the market. This research paper introduces a compartmental model designed to analyze the factors influencing the adoption of 5G technology, with a specific focus on user demand. The findings from the model's example analysis underscore the critical role played by machine-to-machine (M2M) communication use cases and subscriber costs in accelerating the widespread adoption of 5G technology. By offering valuable insights into the projected trajectory of 5G diffusion, this model can serve as a valuable resource for policymakers and industry stakeholders, aiding them in making informed decisions regarding policies, regulations, and strategic investments related to 5G technology.
