Abstract: Ende 1999 formulierte das Bundesverfassungsgericht in einem Urteil wichtige Anforderungen an das Länderfinanzausgleichssystem. Welche Konsequenzen ergeben sich hieraus für eine Reform des Länderfinanzausgleichs? Professor Fritz Söllner macht vor diesem Hintergrund einen Reformvorschlag.
