Abstract: Das deutsche Bruttoinlandsprodukt (BIP) hat sich im letzten Quartal des vergangenen Jahres seitwärts bewegt. Aktuelle Daten deuten darauf hin, dass die Wirtschaftsentwicklung im ersten Quartal auf niedrigem Niveau bleiben wird. Die weiteren kurzfristigen Aussichten sind dagegen gar nicht so pessimistisch, wie die aktuelle Prognoseübersicht zeigt.
