Abstract: Der aktuelle Preisverfall im Europäischen Emissionshandelssystem ist nicht nur eine Folge der gegenwärtigen Wirtschaftskrise. Auch Überlagerungseffekte mit anderen Politikzielen wie der Mindestquote für erneuerbare Energien spielen eine Rolle. Diese Überlagerungseffekte entfalten ihre Wirksamkeit besonders in Phasen niedrigen Wirtschaftswachstums.
