Abstract: This research examines the optimization of SEO to achieve high rankings in search engines. The goal of this research is to provide insights and guidance for companies and businesses to enhance their online visibility through effective SEO optimization. The research method employed is quantitative descriptive study, utilizing secondary data from We Are Social’s report on the global search engine market share in July 2022. The research findings indicate that Google’s dominance as a global search engine remains highly significant, although there has been a slight decline in its market share. Additionally, the use of social media continues to be a growing trend as the most visited type of website. The study concludes that comprehensive and ongoing SEO optimization is necessary to contend with the increasingly competitive landscape and changing user behavior in accessing online platforms.
