Abstract: This paper refers to total quality and quality of work life. The main goal is to estimate the changes in the aspects related to quality of work life since the introduction of total quality control. This is a qualitative study based on a theoretic-empirical research. A case study was conducted on a public agency. It is important to say that in this study quality of work life is understood as a natural expansion of total quality because these programs are generally used only as a way to improve the company results. In my concept they should also be seen as a way to improve the people life condition.
