Strategic Prerequisites for Changing the Model of Healthcare Organization for Employees of JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company under the Influence of Global Climate Change

Abstract: Purpose. The study aims to substantiate a new model for occupational health and efficient water management at JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company within the framework of the global ESG agenda to bridge the technological gap in the metallurgical sector of Uzbekistan.Methods. The theoretical and methodological foundation of this research is based on the strategy concepts of the Academician Vladimir L. Kvint’s school of strategizing, alongside an interdisciplinary complex systems approach developed jointly by Lomonosov Moscow State University, CEMI RAS, and Navoi State Mining and Technological University. These approaches were used to model the dependence of personnel health on water quality and climate factors.Results. The study proposes a scientifically grounded modernization of the Company’s corporate medical base, closely integrated with the “Strategy for Efficient Water Management until 2040 and beyond†. Strategic priorities for workplace safety are shifted toward minimizing the risks arising from environmental degradation and climate change.Conclusions. Implementing the developed solutions will allow the enterprise to establish an advanced healthcare ecosystem focused on prevention and health preservation. This strategic pattern will ensure long-term sustainable development both for the Company’s employees and the entire regional population.
