A. V. Dmitriev ()

Administrative Consulting, 2026, issue 5

Abstract: This article explores the challenges of improving logistics business processes in the context of digitalization and increasing the efficiency of logistics companies through the use of modern digital technologies. Digital transformation is considered a key factor in ensuring a company’s competitive edge in the marketplace. The introduction of digital technologies significantly reduces operational logistics costs for companies, which positively impacts their economic performance, freeing up additional financial resources for business development and improving customer service. Digitalization is a key driver of development in the logistics sector, as modern digital tools enable real-time monitoring of ongoing material flow management processes. This significantly facilitates supply chain operations and facilitates compliance with contractual obligations for the delivery of products from the shipper to the final recipient. The article notes that the use of modern digital technologies helps avoid manual input errors, reduce the risk of executing logistics operations, and ensure smoother operation of the logistics system. At the same time, the use of big data analytics as a digital tool enables informed management decisions in the logistics process. An analysis of the logistics services market revealed that the rapid expansion of online commerce is currently driving the development of digital technologies in logistics. As a result, the convergence of several digital tools, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and blockchain, as well as the transition to cloud computing, is accelerating the digitalization of logistics activities at the corporate level. The study also concludes that the rapid market development is due to significant technological advances in recent years, as well as government support for digital transformation. The digital logistics market is supported by advanced industrial capabilities and a developed manufacturing sector, driven by significant investments in intelligent logistics solutions.
