State Identity: Towards the Definition of a Concept and Problem Statement

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the formation of a conceptual field of the «state identity» concept, which, in contrast to the concepts of «national identity» and «civic identity» is not common in Russian social and political science. The processes of globalization, informatization, virtualization in the situation of modernity suggest the significant transformations in the relations between the authorities and society, the essence of which is to change the historically distribution functions, reconfiguring powerful field of innovation processes linking social control mechanisms with spontaneous self-regulation.
