Abstract: Discusses the use of environmental insurance in the implementation of projects of liquidation of accumulated environmental damage. In conditions of limited budgetary financing sources for the implementation of environmental projects and development of an effective risk management system are encouraged to use the tools of environmental insurance. To encourage project participants of liquidation of accumulated environmental damage in article the scheme of investment based on environmental insurance, that involves the participation of all stakeholders and helps to ensure the effectiveness of the process of encouraging investors in the implementation of environmental and social projects
