Jing Zeng

Asian Agricultural Research, 2018, vol. 10, issue 10

Abstract: Hubei Province is one of the bases of commodity grain production in China and the major province of grain transfer, which has made an important contribution to the protection of national food security. According to the development demand of grain industry in Hubei Province and the national development plan of grain e-commerce, this paper analyzes the development trend of grain e-commerce in Hubei Province, and expounds the main factors restricting the transformation and upgrading of grain circulation mode in Hubei Province: lack of e-commerce talents; risks for food enterprises to conduct transactions in the platform-type e-commerce; risks in the security of third-party payment. Finally, this paper points out the effective ways of further development of grain e-commerce in Hubei Province.
