Abstract:
Nano selenium which has the advantages of low toxicity, strong activity and high biocompatibility has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity to bacteria, fungi, viruses and parasites, and has a broad application prospect in the field of inhibiting microbial infection. This paper mainly reviews the progress in the types and mechanisms of selenium inhibition microorganisms, and prospects the development of the antibacterial activities of selenium nanoparticles.
