Compensation Method and Rational Standard of Arable Land Expropriation

Mingchuan Xue

Asian Agricultural Research, 2009, vol. 01, issue 03, 4

Abstract: This paper discusses the problems in determining the compensational money of arable land expropriation by Income Capitalization Method and Market Comparative Method during the process of arable land expropriation. It also introduces the value composition of arable land in China. Taking Chongqing City as an example, the irrationality of compensation standard in current arable land expropriation is analyzed. Result shows that the Income Capitalization Method is rational in determining the compensational money, but the current compensation standard should be further improved.
