This instrument is implemented by inviting private players and associations to join public players in defining quality signs. The article apprehends governance through collective learning processes for the recognition of the quality of products of origin. The analysis of territorial governance highlights learning situations of participation and consultation induced by the establishment of the geographical indication dry fig of Béni Maouche.
