Abstract:
We analyze the economic profitability of forestry production for farmers in MidiPyrénées (France). We first define the economic criteria used. We then present the different wood production a farmer can develop. The third section is devoted to characterize the economic profitability of these options which are then compared with the profitability of crop production.
