Abstract: Based on the interpretation and analysis of different paradigms related to the topic of the study – which can be found in the first part of the study – we have established that different views can be found on many issues regarding the principles and tools of agricultural sustainability. We consider that the enforcement of agroecological aspects is – based on the opinions of several experts – the main direction, one of the best possible solutions in terms of continuously ensuring agricultural sustainability. At the same time, it can also be stated that many questions arise – such as the connections between sustainability and competitiveness, the development of production profitability, will the growing demand for a safe food supply be ensured in the case of the application of input-poor but environmentally friendly technological solutions? The experts do not really provide answers to these. The framework for the joint enforcement of sustainability and competitiveness is provided by the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and its related specific objectives – increasing competitiveness, fair income, environmental protection, landscape and biodiversity preservation, etc. – The Farm to Fork (F2F) strategy plays a prominent role in its toolkit, the main goal of which is to transform EU agriculture into a sustainable food system. It sees this achievement as a reduction in the volume of certain inputs. In our opinion, innovative methods of husbandry and production technologies will continue to play a role, as they play a key role in ensuring a balance between sustainability and competitiveness. In this second part of our study, we analyze the economic aspects of the different solutions based on source works. We quantified the economic aspects of the relationships between sustainability and competitiveness for broiler chickens with our own model calculation. Based on the results obtained, it can be stated that no general recommendations or solutions can be given for the equilibrium of sustainability and competitiveness. This equilibrium depends on the production structure of the company, which in turn is determined by the embeddedness of the production site as a spatial unit in the rural economy, the institutional environment of the company and the socio-economic institutional system, as well as the professional preparedness of the farmer or management and finally their attitude towards sustainability.
