 KÖZÉP-SZIGETKÖZI TELEPÜLÉSEK ÁLLATTENYÉSZTÉSÉBEN BEKÖVETKEZETT VÁLTOZÁSOKEszter Horvath GAZDÁLKODÁS: Scientific Journal on Agricultural Economics, 2007, vol. 51, issue 02, 9 Abstract: Vizsgálataimban négy közép-szigetközi település (Ásványráró, Hédervár, Darnózseli, Püski) mezőgazdasági szövetkezeti állattenyésztését és az állati ter-mék előállításra vonatkozó jellemzőit elemeztem 1990-től 2006-ig. Megállapítot-tam, hogy az egész országot érintő változások következtében a vizsgált szövetke-zetek állatállománya drasztikusan lecsökkent, az előállított állati termékek köre erőteljesen leszűkült, melynek hatására az állattartás és állattenyésztés nagymér-tékben veszített jelentőségéből. Az állatállomány és az előállított állati termékek csökkenésében ciklusok, középtávú hullámzások figyelhetők meg, melyek az or-szágos szinten bekövetkezett változásoktól, az általános tendenciáktól eltérő mozgást is mutatnak. Az eredmények bizonyítják, hogy az ország ezen sajátos tájkörzetében, az általános gazdasági hatások mellett speciális, a térséget érintő problémák és hatások is érvényesültek. Ezért kiemelkedő fontosságú a közép-szigetközi települések állattenyésztését befolyásoló általános és sajátos tényezők, tényezőrendszerek elemzése, az állattenyésztésben bekövetkezett változások ha-tásának vizsgálata. A jövőben célszerű törekedni az állatállomány csökkenésének mérséklésére, a településeken működő helyi gazdálkodási és állati termék előállí-tó rendszerek megerősítésére és bővítésére, az EU-tagság adta lehetőségek meg-felelő szintű kihasználására, a „gyökerekhez visszanyúló” tradicionális tapaszta-latok – a hagyományos szigetközi állattartási és állattenyésztési techológiák – és az új termelési követelmények ötvözésének megvalósítására. - In my investigations I analysed the characteristics related to animal breeding and the production of animal produce in the agricultural co-operatives of four Central Szigetköz settlements (Ásványráró, Hédervár, Darnózseli, Püski), between 1990 and 2006. I determined that as a result of the changes affecting the whole country, the livestock of the co-operatives being examined was drastically reduced and the range of animal products being produced was greatly cut back. As a result of this, animal husbandry and animal breeding suffered a major loss of importance. Cycles and medium-term fluctuations can be observed in the re-duction of livestock and animal produce, which present movements that differ from the changes occurring at the national level and from average tendencies. The results prove that specific, regionally relevant problems and effects appeared in this unique region of the country, alongside the usual economic effects. For this reason, an analysis of the general and unique factors and factor systems influencing animal breeding in the Central Szigetköz settlements, as well as an examination of the effects of the changes in animal breeding, are of the utmost importance. It would be beneficial in the future to aim for: the tempering of live-stock reductions; the strengthening and expansion of local economic and animal product producing systems operating in the settlements; appropriate utilisation of the opportunities presented by EU membership; and the realisation of a com-bination of grass-roots, traditional experience – traditional animal husbandry and animal breeding technologies of Szigetköz – with the new breeding require-ments.
