Abstract: Magyarországon a világélelmezés helyzetéről tanácskozott huszonöt évvel ezelőtt a Római Klub. A már akkor jelentkező világélelmezési válság kérdéseire többféle megoldást vázoltak fel a témakörrel foglalkozó szakemberek, melyek mind bíztatónak ígérkeztek, melyekből – szinte kivétel nélkül – csaknem semmi nem valósult meg. Magyarország évtizedeken át nemcsak helytállt az élelmezési versenyfutásban, hanem olyan tapasztalatokat is szerzett, melyek a mostani „újabb keletű” világélelmezési válságban is hasznosíthatók. --------------------- The Club of Rome organised a meeting about world food supply in Hungary 25 years ago. The experts proposed several solutions to alleviate world food crisis which seemed to be promising, nevertheless they–almost without exception-have not been realized. Hungary not only has stood its ground in the world-wide competition of food supply for decades but has also got experiences which can be utilized in the recent world food crisis as well.
