Az Észak-alföldi Régió agrárfoglalkoztatási helyzete az országos adatok tükrében

Abstract: A globális pénzügyi és a kibontakozó gazdasági válság időszakában a munkanélküliség jelenti a legsúlyosabb társadalmi és szociális problémát az Európai Unióban és hazánkban is. A tanulmány az országos adatok és folyamatok tükrében az Észak-alföldi Régió munkanélküliséggel kapcsolatos problémáit tárja fel, különös tekintettel az agrárfoglalkoztatás helyzetére. A kutatás egyik legfontosabb következtetése, hogy minél nagyobb a munkanélküliség az adott térségben, annál nagyobb a munkanélküliek között a mezőgazdasági tevékenységgel foglalkozók aránya, azaz a mezőgazdaság szociális ellátó funkciója ezen körzetekben különösen fontos szerepet játszik. A másik fontos megállapítás, hogy a mezőgazdasági munkanélküliség mérséklése érdekében az eddiginél jóval nagyobb mértékben szükséges a régióban megtermelt mezőgazdasági termékek helyben való feldolgozása és értékesítése. Végül sürgető feladat a mezőgazdaságban dolgozók, ezen belül különösen az egyéni gazdálkodók szakképzettségének jelentős növelése. ---------------------------------------------- In the present period of global financial and developing economic crisis, unemployment counts as the most serious social problem both in the European Union and in our country. The present study compares national data and developments with the problems associated with joblessness in the Észak-Alföld Region with special attention to agricultural employment. An important conclusion of the study is that the greater the unemployment in the given region the greater the proportion of those among the unemployed occupied in agriculture, indicating the special importance of the social welfare function that agriculture provides in this regions. Another important conclusion is that much more of the locally produced crops should be locally processed and merchandised in order to ease local unemployment. Finally a significant enhancement of agricultural works’ skills, especially those of private farmers is an immediate task.
