Prospective for the French rural space by 2020

Abstract: Given their diversity of uses and functions, the future features of the French countryside may take on many contrasted appearances. Using a summary and a rereading of the established knowledge on rural space the prospective group set up by the French land planning agency - DATAR - suggests 4 potential scenarios for the French countryside by 2020.
