Abstract:
Retail prices and F.O.B. shipping point prices are responsive to differences in product quality. Although marketing margin variations at times ran counter to variations in F.O.B. shipping point prices. A more careful analysis of pricing and marketing strategies by retailers would aid profitability and help consumers.
