DYNAMIC ADJUSTMENT MODELS FOR ESTIMATING SHRIMP CONSUMPTION CHARACTERISTICS

K. Shaine Tyson and John F. Yanagida

Journal of Food Distribution Research, 1984, vol. 15, issue 2, 6

Abstract: The authors analyze the factors affecting U.S. shrimp consumption. Two aspects seem to affect shrimp consumption: habit formation and inventory adjustment. They conclude that the long-run and short-run price elasticities are inelastic.
