Abstract:
This interview with Mr. Alexis Bonte, Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Venezuela is included as the culmination of the Special Section of this issue of Agroalimentaria magazine. It explores some questions about the World Summit on Food Systems convened in 2021 by the United Nations, to discuss the necessary transformations of the same and thus contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-2030); in particular, for the case of Venezuela and the Venezuelan food system (VFS).
