Un enfoque geohistórico-relacional de la configuración territorial. El bloque regional de los Andes venezolanos (La desreterritorialización en el tiempo) [Reseña de Libro]

Francisco José González Cruz

Agroalimentaria Journal - Revista Agroalimentaria, vol. 31, issue 62

Abstract: Francisco José González Cruz, a university professor, writer and researcher, reviews the latest book by Prof. José J. Rojas López. The book delves into how the territorial configurations of the subregions that make up the Andean regional block have been articulated from the early 16th century to the late 20th century. To this end, the author analyses and describes processes of territorialization, deterritorialization and reterritorialization in the Venezuelan Andes from the time of indigenous settlement and Spanish colonization to the wars of independence, the federal war, the readjustment following the coffee boom and the oil boom.
