Abstract: This sixty‑second issue of Agroalimentaria is organized into two sections. The first (regular) section comprises eight articles presenting research findings on diverse topics, submitted by international scholars through the journal’s standard submission channels. The second section contains seven articles addressing key challenges of the Venezuelan Food System (VFS) and themes discussed during the International Academic Seminar “Sustainable Food Systems: Transformations and Challenges in the Contemporary World and in Venezuela,” held in July 2025 to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the Edgar Abreu Olivo Center for Agri‑Food Research (CIAAL‑EAO) at the University of Los Andes (ULA) in Mérida, Venezuela.
