Smes’ financing – effects of the small business act in Europe

Abstract: In order to support the development of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), the European Commission adopted the “Small Business Act for Europe” (SBA) in 2008 which include ten leading principles, a set of new legislative measures and strategic actions to be put into practice at the European level. Recenty, the European Commission and the member states adopted measures for improvement the access to financing for the SMEs and to stimulate their access to the European and international markets. As well there were taken initiatives for improvement of the framework-conditions for SMEs, especially for elimination of the administrative burdens.
