Abstract:
If we are talking about tax evasion, it can be appreciated that his position as an enemy of society (intentionally I did not say of „the state") is amplified not only by its economic consequences but also by its public consequences. The proportions to which the this phenomenon has become in the contemporary Romanian society exceed any acceptable limits in a modern state, a member of the European Union. In addition, it should be noted that the devastating effects of tax evasion occur in Romania, both economically, socially, culturally and politically.
