Abstract:
The purpose of this research work is to study the effects of socio-demographic and psychological characteristics on employee income. For this, the author achieved an inquiry on 107 respondents employed by a branch of a private company specialized in public survey from January 7 to February 20, 2008. Using statistical software R and SPSS and applying Linear Mixed-Effects Models the results showed that characteristics like age, seniority, extraversion and agreeableness have a significant effect on employee income.
