Abstract: The article aims to identify and understand the effects that new financial technologies produce on the management of organizations and analyzes, on the one hand, the evolution over time of these technologies, corroborating the concepts and classifications used in the specialized literature, and on the other hand investigates the factors that influenced their appearance, examining in parallel the possible fields of the most critical technologies existing in the financial industry. This study highlights the production of new Fintech technologies, which results in increased competition for the supply of financial services and products and, in return, potentially disruptive changes in these sectors with a determining effect on the management of financial institutions.
