Abstract:
This paper identifies, via a survey with key players of the industry, the more relevant success factors that help Mexican companies specialized in developing infrastructure in Mexico in order to adapt to the increasing presence of foreign competition in local markets. A PLS (partial least squares) analysis was performed and the most important factors were ranked hierarchically. First, intellectual capital and innovation appeared and secondly, quality and decision making. These factors contribute to support the Mexican firms’ adaptability and planning regarding their future.
