Cohort maternal mortality: New York, 1917-1972

Abstract: Data on New York State maternal mortality 1917-1972, are analyzed and show that the cohort patterns of age-specific maternal mortality are mainly a reflection of the pattern of period declines in age-specific maternal mortality.
