Abstract:
The aim of the article is to outline some challenges upon human resource management in manufacturing. The object of the study is a light industry enterprise located in Ruse city. The employed research method is a case study. Five main challenges have been identified, i.e. a) workforce shortage; b) retention and attrition; c) luck of commitment to the company's objectives; d) competition from similar employees; e) recruitment and selection.
