Abstract:
The article examines indicators characterizing the dynamics of changes in human resources and the labor productivity of persons employed in the Construction sector for the period 2005-2021. On this basis, outlines the trends in their changes, as well as the reasons for these changes. The main methods used are the methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, description and comparison. Labor productivity, as an important economic indicator closely related to economic growth, competitiveness and the standard of living in the country, shows a sustainable trend of growth at the national level, although it remains significantly below the EU average levels. In the Construction sector, there was a positive trend until 2012, and after 2012 - a negative trend, most pronounced at the end of the period, due to a significant extent to the disproportionate attraction of human resources compared to the realized final product.
