Abstract: Automation, artificial intelligence and robots have a major impact on economic development, the labor market and the workforce. They affect their form, nature, structure and direction of development. Thanks to the cooperation between man and machine, many professions will disappear, but many will also appear. The purpose of the article is to show the development of digitization and robotization in the economy and their impact on the labor market, which forces workers to acquire new competencies and skills. The method of the study was descriptive analysis of scientific literature in period of digitalization and automation since 2020. The works searched are in various scientific fields – including management, economics, information technology.
