Abstract: Rapid advancement of information and communication technology has opened new development prospects for countries around the world. This advancement impacts the world on the economic, commercial, and technological levels. As such, it is imperative to pay close heed to this technology for future development. This article outlines the challenges and setbacks facing information and communication technology development and offers suggestions to optimally pass this stage. More detailed elaboration of each of the subjects presented here requires more time and space and in beyond the scope of the present article. Furthermore, only those challenges and suggestions which the authors deemed most prominent are listed here.
