Abstract: Ecommerce and related technologies have, on the one hand, tilted the balance of power between industries and industrial companies, created better coordination among the industries, offered more effective and easier production methods, reduced incoming data's inaccuracies, and improved their accuracy and, on the other hand, made planning and strategy formulation more complrex. Most industrial models are based on traditional views and are shaped without regard to the electronic developments of the past decade. Undating these models will definitely transform the related strategies. This article studies different models to devise industrial organizations' strategies, reviews the impacts of ecommerce on these models, and finally offers a framework to formulate industrial strategies for e-commerce.
