The Econometric Model for SME Development in the Republic of Moldova

Abstract:
The econometric model and forecast of the main indicators of the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Moldova for the medium term are presented. It is based on a set of behavioral equations and group identities that describe the relationships that are characteristic for small business development in the republic. The model includes five large groups of the economy, namely: remittances (from Moldovans working abroad), number of enterprises, number of employees, value of sales revenue and profi t (+), losses (-) before taxation.
