Abstract:
This article presents an experimental refrigeration plant equipped with a hybrid cooling system, which was developed at the Technical University of Moldova as a result of the cooperation of researchers from the Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering Departments to study the cooling process of various agricultural products. All stages of conception, design, development of the refrigeration plant were carried out in laboratory conditions, and field tests were carried out both in laboratory and real conditions, within the framework of specialized enterprises in this field, to evaluate the effectiveness in relation to the practical application of the developed plant. The results of multiple series of experiments have shown that the use of the proposed plant significantly reduces electric energy consumption and environmental impact.
